Age: 30

Height: 5'10

Weight: 160ish

Location: currently - Charleston, SC

Occupation: teacher

Education: Undergrad - Elementary Education - Ball State University (Muncie, IN) &  Grad School - M.Ed. Languages (ESOL) - College of Charleston

My Loves: Charleston, my family (especially my little nephew - I am the crazy aunt!), fabulous friends, having a new job I really enjoy, never having to shovel snow again, flip-flops, restaurants with outdoor seating, Glee, True Blood, The Hunger Games, historical fiction books, warm weather, long runs, travel, 4th of July, cooking, The Indianapolis Colts…and the list goes on…
Favorite Foods: I could go on forever, I love food!  Berries (especially blackberries & raspberries), sushi, anything Mexican, homemade burgers on the grill with lettuce and tomato, Pop Chips, Trader Joe's ginger cats, Kashi Dark Chocolate Coconut bars, pretty much every cheese ever created especially Brie or Havarti with jalapenos, bread, jalapeno Greek yogurt dip, Trader Joe's Chipolte hummus, Better 'N Peanut Butter, Jelly Belly jelly beans, fro-yo, cookie dough, anything sweet I shouldn't have, dark chocolate.  I could go on forever.  Food = Amazing!

Least Favorite Foods: olives, sour cream, whipped cream, pudding, & jello.  I think the last 4 have to do with consistency issues, yet somehow I am totally fine with queso dip and frosting both of which have similar consistencies so who knows what in the world is wrong with me.

  2. Hi Abby - I just read this for the first time and can't believe how much we have in common! I'm from Indy too (southside) and went to Ball State! I actually came to London with Ball State's London Center program in 1995 and, well, 17 years later I'm still here! Absolutely love Charleston too - I used to go there as a teenager with my mom and dad for summer vacations, always will have a special place in my heart :-). I'm really enjoying your blog and thanks for following mine too :-)
